David Mauro, CFP®
President
David Mauro has been managing client investment portfolios for 35 years. He serves as President of Mauro Capital Management, advising clients, directing investment strategy and writing a weekly client newsletter, the Mauro Dispatch.
David earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1985 from the University of Washington, followed by further studies of the financial markets at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
An avid mountain climber, David has summited the highest point on all seven continents—the Seven Summits. His book about those adventures, The Altitude Journals, was the Grand Prize winner of the Beverly Hills Book Award. David is the father of two sons, Trevor and Chase.
